Think you’ve left it too late to buy your first home? You haven’t. I help hardworking first-home buyers, especially those who are the first in their family to buy, understand their options, overcome the hurdles and make home ownership possible.

I moved to Australia 14 years ago and, like many migrants, spent years working hard to build a life here. My husband and I built our life from the ground up, but neither of us came from a background where owning a home felt like something that was meant for people like us. When we finally started thinking seriously about buying, we were both self-employed and weren't sure whether home ownership was even achievable for us. There were plenty of questions we didn't know to ask and options we didn't know existed. It took time, persistence and finding the right path for our circumstances, but we eventually bought our first property when we were 32 and 36. That experience is a big part of why I became a mortgage broker. I know what it feels like to wonder whether you qualify, to feel like your circumstances make things harder, and to not know what questions to ask. Today, I use that experience, along with my background in customer service and business ownership, to help clients understand their options clearly and feel confident about what’s possible for them. I believe buying your first home shouldn’t be reserved for people who had a head start in life. I work especially well with first-home buyers who are navigating the process without family experience to guide them, whether you’re the first person in your family to buy a home, you’ve emigrated to Australia and are building a life here without the safety net of local family support, you’ve spent years working hard and scraping by to create stability, or you’re in your 30s or 40s and wondering if you’ve left it too late. My approach is straightforward, supportive and completely judgement-free. I take the time to understand where you’re starting from, explain your options in plain English or Spanish, and help you work out what is genuinely achievable, not just what looks good on paper. I know that for many people, getting a mortgage can feel overwhelming or even intimidating, so my goal is to make the process feel clear, manageable and empowering from the first conversation through to settlement. What makes my approach different is that I’m not here to make you feel like you should already know how this works. There are no silly questions, no judgement about where you’re starting from, and no pressure to buy something you’re not ready for. I’m here to help you understand your options, overcome the hurdles and build a realistic path towards home ownership.
